BE AWARE OF FRAUDULENT OFFERS!!
As always, there are certain people out there ready to take advantage of others during tough times and will try to scam their way into making a profit from your misfortune. Once a foreclosure notice is filed in your state, you will undoubtedly will receive letters, emails and phone calls from fraudulent companies and individuals claiming to be able to keep you from being foreclosed and keep you in your home. Almost all of these offers are scams. If it sounds too good to be true, it undoubtedly is.
If you receive one of these offers and are curious about what they are offering, one simple step will save you from loosing a lot of money save a lot of heartache. Simply call your local BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU and ask them to give you any information they may have on the company or individuals making the offer. Ten minutes of your time to investigate these offers could make the difference in total ruin and un-recoverable financial devastation. PLEASE do your homework before agreeing to anything.
